G20 Leaders’ Summit Coming to Cabo

A brand new Convention and Visitors Center is under construction to house these meetings, which will be attended by finance ministers, central bank governors and leaders from 20 major economies including Mexico, Canada, the United States and the European Union.

Per a Press Release from the Los Cabos Convention and Visitors Center, the G20 Convention Center underway adjacent to Club Campestre San Jose will be 653,400 sq. ft. when completed. It will accommodate 6000 people and design for the designated “green” facility includes solar panels.

The group of leaders meets annually to study, review and promote discussion about policy issues pertaining to achieving international financial stability.

We are pleased, and honored to announce that leading Mexican business magazine Expansion has officially designated Grupo Questro a “Super Company, a company where everybody wants to work.”

Expansion Magazine established this annual “Super Company” corporate evaluation with an eye to establishing a thermometer for business trends in Mexico. With an emphasis on transparency and objectivity, methodology for the study was established by Top Companies and results were audited by Price Waterhouse Coopers. Based on results of Expansion’s sixth annual evaluation of over 600 companies, Grupo Questro ranks number 35 in the category for companies with 500 employees or less.

Grupo Questro, known for “Developing Quality and Delivering Excellence” create value in Mexico by integrating outstanding levels of quality with social and environmental responsibility and taking pride in all projects.

Many congratulations to the entire team at Grupo Questro for this prestigious recognition in the very first year the company was evaluated in the Expansion survey.

New homes underway at Pueblo Campestre

Construction on the first homes in Pueblo Campestre is advancing quickly. It is now possible to walk to the viewing tower of our popular Casa Desierto to admire the view pictured here. One of six floor plans in Pueblo Campestre, Casa Desierto is a 2 BR, 2.5 BA home with nearly 1400 sq. ft. of air conditioned living space and nearly double that in total living area. Pricing for the Casa Desierto floor plan at Pueblo Campestre currently begins at $236,000 US including Beach and Nicklaus Design Golf Club memberships. Six homes are currently being built at Pueblo Campestre.

Congratulations to Club Campestre San Jose, 2012 Copa Questro Champions

Over the last few weeks, the three Questro golf courses competed in their
inaugural inter-club competition, Copa Questro. The event was a three round
tournament with each Club hosting one round. Each Golf Club fielded a
12-person team, consisting of members, caddies and the Pro.

Here were the final results of the event:

Club Campestre - 81 under par
Cabo Real - 78 under par
Puerto Los Cabos - 69 under par

The event was created to improve the camaraderie among the Golf Clubs and the event was a huge success. Many new friendships were formed over the
tournament and we look forward to another great Copa Questro in 2013.

Congratulations to Club Campestre once again for a well-played tournament.
